A - in every respect - hot day and evening!
Hey, here comes the band! It echoes loudly at us as we drive to the Ööli area with the band bus, which is of course signed. Open windows at the bus, because of good weather, and obviously good mood at the tables seated outside, make it possible to hear the joy of our appearance as well as to share it waving out of the windows.
As soon as we arrived at the festival site in the middle of Churwalden, the local organiser checked us for under-hopping and cured it immediately. Later: set up, sound check, beef spit and sausage check. The under-hopping had been successfully reduced to minimum levels in appropriate doses - in glasses. Then the concert started. Starting brilliantly with our "Rock You" and rocking just as brilliantly until the break, we managed to lure bikers and other motorised spectators in front of the stage.
First the good news: At our second gig at Goldauerhof this year, the Guinness IPA held out until the end and Laszlo delighted me with a fresh, full pint of it even after the concert.

Hey, what are you doing in the guitar case? My microphone, missing since Wylandrock (see here) and wanted by everyone involved (sorry, folks), is just lying there, in the side compartment (string compartment?) of my guitar case. Definitely wrong place, never searched there. But no matter, the main thing is that I have you, yes we are on first terms, again.
Ahead of us were "Riff" and "on the Roxx". Not only did the lads and gals from these bands put on a wonderful performance, but it was a real pleasure to hang out, talk shop and chat with them. Not to forget, the whole evening was made into the best by on the Roxx (thanks Roberto, band and entourage).
