Hey, what are you doing in the guitar case? My microphone, missing since Wylandrock (see here) and wanted by everyone involved (sorry, folks), is just lying there, in the side compartment (string compartment?) of my guitar case. Definitely wrong place, never searched there. But no matter, the main thing is that I have you, yes we are on first terms, again.
We are then in the right place, later on our autumn tour 2022, in the Dreiegg in Frauenfeld. We are expected with a big smile and a drink. Rarely given such a friendly welcome, we immediately feel at home and start setting up... Sure, first "Welcome", then set up 😊
After the sound check, dinner, another beer and with a slightly battered NoBo (who sang great throughout the evening) it all started (rather) punctually at 9pm on stage. Let's go with our gig, round 1.
Not just «one» gig, of course. Each of our gigs is special. This one was extra special because we were celebrating the 10th anniversary of the hard guys (in modern German: Hard Wretches).
´Rock You´ has proven itself as an opening song in Rheinau (see again here). Even without one of Diego's beloved beginning Milanese. ´Rock You´ is also played here first. Followed by an hour full of power, birthday beer for everyone, a short break and then again and with at least the same drive, the second set. Despite concentrated playing, there is now and then time for a delightful grin. Everything fits again! Not surprisingly, we were also allowed to play encores and would like to take this opportunity to thank the sensational audience and the equally sensational Dreiegg crew from the bottom of our hearts.
And, yes, after the gig there was also a beer.
And, yes, I carefully stowed away the microphone. In the side compartment (string compartment?) of the guitar case...
